The West Woodstock Library volunteered to help collect paperbacks for Operation Paperback beginning in January 2006.  Please click here to visit the official Operation Paperback web site and learn more about this great program.  The paperbacks we collect are shipped to our troops serving overseas.

Troops have requested the following genres: action, bestsellers, biographies and memoirs, fantasy, history, horror, mysteries, science-fiction and true crime.  Romances are not requested as the troops have received a disproportionate amount of that genre.  You can drop off your slightly used paperbacks at the library and we will arrange to ship them every time we collect 15 to 20 books or so.  If you can donate $0.25 along with each paperback that will help us to offset the shipping cost.  Thanks!!
