The West Woodstock Library is
one of four local village libraries that serve the town of
Woodstock, Connecticut. Located in the western half of
Woodstock, it is complemented by the
North Woodstock
Library, the East Woodstock
May Memorial Library and the
Bracken Memorial Library
located at Woodstock Academy. The West Woodstock
Library Association is a non-profit
organization that operates under the terms of its' constitution and
bylaws
to oversee the operation of the library. Please see

The West Woodstock Library
was originally founded in 1806 and celebrated it's 200th
anniversary last year. The West Woodstock Library
Association was founded in December 1930. You can review the

The West Woodstock Library has
been featured in local newspaper articles from time to time
over the past few years. These articles have mainly
been focused around the library's reconstruction of the John
F.
Williams Law Office and new library connector. The
Williams Law Office housed the library's collection
for a number of years back in the 1800's. Please see
