Dear West
Woodstock Library Patrons and Friends,
THANKS
TO YOU! We have, since last writing to you:
-
Installed an energy efficient heating system and
upgraded the electrical systems.
-
Replaced the roof on the original part of the library,
thanks to volunteers from the Bungay Fire Department.
-
Installed a computerized library system, again with the
help of community volunteers.
-
Added 4 computer stations (a donation from Citizens
National Bank) and a Wi-Fi connection available for
public use.
-
Built shelving for the new children’s area.
-
Established successful children story hours which is run
by volunteer mothers.
-
Replaced the carpet in the new Adult section, and
installed flooring in the new Children’s area.
-
Removed large tree and stump in front of library to
accommodate a wheelchair accessible ramp.
-
Added a vestibule and new outdoor library sign, which
was created and built by a patron.
-
Replaced shelving in the new Adult area with shelving
donated from the Branford Library.
WHAT
ELSE DO WE NEED!
- An
area rug for Children’s section
-
Paint for the interior of the John Williams historical
law office and the new Adult area
- To
purchase and install bathroom facilities
- To
build and install the wheelchair accessible ramp
- To
replace obsolete lighting with energy efficient lighting
in the new Adult area
- To
insulate the crawlspace underneath the Children’s
section

reach the above goals. If you want to earmark your
