New Hours!
Starting January 2013, the
library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from
3-6PM and Saturday from 9AM-12PM. Children's Story
Time will continue on Wednesdays at 10AM.
Museum Passes!
We now have free admission
passes for the
Lutz Children's Museum,
Connecticut's Old State House
and
The USS Constitution Museum!
Each of these passes may be checked out for two library
days. We also have 20% off discount coupons for the
CT Science Center available
anytime!
Kids Book Club!
The West Woodstock Library
welcomes kids 8-11 years old to join our monthly Kids Book
Club! We meet once a month for
discussion, activities, crafts and snacks related to the
book we have read. Register by calling the library,
emailing the librarian or in person the next time you are at
the library!
Interested in eBooks?
eBooks are now available to
Woodstock residents for borrowing. Please contact the
library for information.
Story Hour!
Children's Story Hour
meets Wednesday at 10:00AM at the library. Join us for
stories, songs, crafts and friends! We welcome all
little ones, from babies to preschoolers! No
registration is required.
Your Group at the Library!
The library is now available
for some group uses. We have enjoyed hosting Brownie
Troop #65057 for their regular meetings and activities over
this past year. The Quiet Corner
Homeschoolers filled the library with music when they held a
class on opera with soprano Sarah Callinan from The Salt
Marsh Opera Company. If you have a group that would
like to use the library, please call or email

Operation Paperback!
We are collecting slightly
used paperbacks
to ship to our troops serving overseas. The response
so far this year has been great and we urge everyone to keep
donating their paperbacks for this great cause! Please
